Sometimes Kiros wishes he could reach right through the screen and just CHOKE the life out of Beat but despite their humorous 'Bugs and Daffy' relationship, this soon-to-be former mechanic does value him as a friend. Life upon the Victoria is not easy and Kiros found himself growing better bonds off this ship than on it.
I think the two of them have a ‘sibling rivalry’ sort of relationship despite the fact they are not related at all. However, I wonder how such a relationship will continue to grow when Kiros joins the Silvana…
Probably one of the many characters that Kiros really did not get a chance to interact with but the mechanic does at least respects Edgeworth’s for his strong leadership and insight when dealing with such an unusual crew.
At first, the two of them seemed to have nearly become friends over night because they shared similar interests and beliefs but that soon began to change after the assassination in Kropmork. When Kiros began to question his role in the military and his duty to Ivona, this is when the schism between the two began. Taking after other defectors like, Jushirou Sogyo, who left the military in the pursuit peace, Kiros and Ffamran began to but heads more so than usual. Kiros regrettably became more attached to others he has met off the Victoria than on and this has translated poorly for their relationship.
Their last conversation they had when Manfred von Karma decided to attack the crashed 4423 in the Badlands, furthermore help enhanced what I assume is the growing disdain either character held for each other.
So now that Kiros is leaving the Victoria II, I am unsure if their friendship will hold or not.
Ffamran definitely started out really liking Kiros, they were both sarcastic and a little against the grain and they both loved engines and pretty women.
Although Ffamran has had his own issues with Ivona (mainly revolving around his father and the things with Carol), he's never questioned his duty to Ivona (yet). He has a great deal of respect for Edgeworth and to a lesser extent von Karma, so personal loyalty to them has replaced some of his loyalty to Ivona.
Ffamran doesn't see his job as being counter to peace, and he is a man who loves peace. Ffamran saw Kiros's butting heads against von Karma as disloyalty. Ffamran's had his own questions about loyalty, of course, but he saw the actions of the Victoria as legal and just by the laws of Ivona and the Badlands.
Ffamran will probably be -- disappointed in Kiros leaving. The military and peace are not two sides, they can and should work together.
(Ffamran's eventual transformation into Ffamran won't change this at its core. He's still the same man underneath and all of these
( ... )
Kiros finds Toshizou's insight and calmer demeanor much more pleasant than dealing with Toshirou's usually more annoying mannerisms. It is a shame they have not gotten a chance to meet in person but I do think Kiros would take a liking to the 4423 strategist.
