These are really nice. Kitty!Toothless is cute (but then, I love cats). I love the little bits of color with the character's eyes. (-:

Thank you! I wasn't sure if Kitty!Toothless was obvious enough so I am glad you caught that. His shirt says "Here there be dragons" because I had to keep some sort of dragon tied into all of this. And I am lame :p

Ruffnut always looks hot. It's just how she rolls (; I figure she and Tuff are those annoyingly sexy skater punks you see hanging around.

I was thinking of maybe trying to find a way to incorporate the dragons in as some sort of newly discovered species Hiccup discovers or something, but that would be hard to do convincingly. They're big monsters, so even as a new species it wouldn't be hard to find them. Airplanes would hit them, people would see them, they would be everywhere, and it wouldn't work. Then I tried imagining if they were there already just as a part of our animal kingdom, but I figure they're so dangerous there's no way they'd be domesticated and/or in contact with the gang.

So instead they are cats and dogs respectively (for now). It's a shame because Toothless and Hiccup's friendship had such a huge role in character development that the Kitty!Toothless has no chance of competing. Alas, poor modern!Hiccup's best friend is a cat ):
