Author: pili204 Title: Broken Dishes Rating: PG Pairing: Ron/Hermione Word Count: 1537 Summary: Hermione goes a bit irrational over some broken teapot.
I love how rational Ron is in this and how he makes her see that even though things aren't perfect, they're still wonderful(and better than most) because it's them! And I love how you've described him as being 'rough around the edges but completely wonderful'!! That's why we all love him so much!! ♥
I like how you took something as simple as a tea set to trigger an substantial argument about Hermione and Ron's relationship, which makes the story very realistic in my opinion. I loved the little argument Hermione has with herself. It was so much fun to read.
This is nice, and it rings very true. Moving in together is a great adventure, but it's only the first step - sharing a kitchen and a bathroom can be much more challenging than sharing a bed. It can be a shock to realise that things just aren't going to be perfect and you have to really want to make it work.
And of course things that you buy for your first home together are special. Hermione would be upset about the teapot, and then she'd be even more upset that it didn't mean the same to Ron as it did to her.

I'm glad they had a happy ending.
