I'm in the 'too disgusted' category. I don't even think I'm going to read it.

But I'm warning you Marvel, if you kill off one of the Runaways in a crappy gimmick mini, I WILL drop you for the forseeable future. Technically I'm not buying anything right now, but you have been building towards at least a few things that might get me to pick up some significant stuff again. It's mixed in with a lot of awful, but I can look past the awful... unless that awful includes the death of Nico or Chase in this.

A death in a arena is not a worthy death for a Runaway, but I swear if Nico and Chase have to kill one another I will quit Marvel.

The only decent story that could possibly come out of this is if the characters in the Arena are some sort of timeline duplicates of the actual characters, and the Arena versions find out that there are versions of themselves living their lives completely unaffected by this B.S. Psychological meltdowns and What-Makes-Us-Human, yay! It would also explain why Nico doesn't have the upgraded version of the Staff of One.

Alas, I am not confident that Avengers Arena is anything but what it looks like: Crap.
