In Secret Avengers #12.1 we see that someone's stolen the designs to the Fistigons and has built a pair for the supervillain crime lord Mr Negative.

He is! A fan, I mean. During a Marvel panel at Kapow! Comic Con, when asked which book he'd like to see as a movie, he promptly replied "Runaways". I quietly cheered.
