Runaways relationship thoughts: Beyond the core group.

Some Runaways-related thoughts have been swirling my brain a bit more furiously than normal, so I thought I'd share/vent.

It should come as a surprise to absolutely no one that I have an odd fondness for Nico/Speed. They're both rather damaged individuals that seem dead set on hiding it, and their relationship would likely be a tempestuous, on again-off again affair. I think Nico would be attracted to Tommy BECAUSE he's all wrong for her.

Yeah, I have a thing for disfunctional relationships.

Another one I harbor a pecular love for is Nico/Amadeus. She'd probably see a lot in him of the things she saw and liked about Alex (which would probably also terrify her once she realized it).

Hellion's relationship with X-23 never really went beyond "She liked him, he thinks she's hot. She's afraid she'll hurt someone if they come between her and him; he's afraid she'll hurt someone or himself" stages.

Devil Dinosaur's not signle, He's a She and she's a mom now.

The ghost-boy, IIRC, was the spirit of Quinten Quire, the guy who led the Xavier Riot.

Nah, the Ghost Boy wasn't Quire (which isn't to say he wasn't some sort of ghost boy at some time). The one I'm thinking of's name was Jeffrey something. He originally appeared in a X-Treme X-Men storyline as a teleporter, then they revealed he died in an explosion at the mansion but his powers let him stay around as a ghost.

I would love to see a Runaways/ Teen Spider-Man crossover, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon.

Oh well, there's always "Spectacular Spider-man" to pin our hopes on...

Previously established orientations really narrows things down for a gay character like Karolina.

There are how many lesbians her age in comics? 2 or 3? Haha...Not much fun for a match-maker!

Well, there's more choices than in other forms of media, at least! More sad than relieving, though :(.
