I'd say Melanie has it hardest. Being locked inside something that you can't control, having them choose how to interact with your loved ones and there was absolutely nothing you could do about it? I'd rather be Wanderer. Yes, she is being "Bombarded" with memories, but they don't make her do things she doesn't want to. She controls the body.
