don't worry! it is not likely for a computer to erase all your data. i bet that didn't happen. i suggest you take the computer to a repair shop and ask them to recover all your documents. and then buy and icy box and an external hard drive. BACK IT ALL UP. don't leave any of your data on your computer. store it all on your external hard drive (320 giga!). it is also protected against viruses. nothing can get on.

you'll suffer a €250 loss (€130 for the hard drive & icy box & the rest for repairs) but you'll be set!

*hugs*

I don't know why that happened!!?? *cries out of control* The thing is that I need to find a repair shop here where the tech speaks English cause Spaniards are USELESS!!! I called tech support for my friends here in Spain and because their comp's windows is in English it was a mess and the guy was dumber than a rock!
Thanks for the link, I will consider that if my comp decides not to return :( Sadly I am pretty tied on money... ARGH!!! I am sooooo pissed!!!!!!

that happened to me many times. try starting in safe-mode. or just leave it to cool for a few hours. your comp will come back, don't worry. but i seriously suggest icy box.

I agree with . You will not lose your data. Especially if it shows you those messages when you opower it on. Repair shop is what I vote for as well

I don't have a Mac.. I am still with good ole' Windows... *sigh* The pics hurts me but I uploaded a lot of them to my yahoo albums so I just lost the ones I haven't and well.. it's frustrating but what can I do? but is that all those documents and things like that, plus I NEED a comp for work cause I have no time to be going to places for copies or preparing clases UGH!!! *bangs head against wall*

Hahaha! I must say your ipod comment made me laugh SOOOO much!!!! Mine is out of power cause I can't charge it in another comp or I'll have to sync the ipod and I have music there that I bought online and if I do that I will lose it and if my comp joins your ipod in gadget hell I will not get them back.. I HATE TECHNOLOGY!!!! ...but can't live w/o it!

Maybe try to find some computer-guys and they will try to fix this? Maybe it's 'just' a virus?
