Looking forward to Singapore.

Will be going to Singapore for the first time in March, for two days. My first business trip I will undertake on my own. Singaporeans are, in their own words, paranoid and slow to trust by nature. But I feel strangely at home amongst them, strange hybrids of Eastern and Western culture and education that they are.

Have fun! I'm going to Singapore this year, hopefully in April or May but I don't know yet. I have some friends who are living there for a couple of years so I'm going to see them and spend some time in Malaysia and maybe a stopover in Bangkok. I've never been to Asia (other than Jordan) so I'm thrilled. And if I fly Air China I might have a day in Beijing.

I'm hoping to have at least one half-day free so I can do some shopping. Otherwise, it's just full-on work for two days. Still, it sounds like such an unique place.
