SQUEEEE, and also, randomly, how had I forgotten how much I loved Sean Bean's voice and accent? I still can't believe how spot-on most of the cast is, and I really, really hope they meet my very high expectations.

I know Lena Headey caught some flack for apparently not being "beautiful enough" for Cersei, but I love what I saw of her in the role. She seems to be playing against type, and I like that, and the earthy quality she brings to the character.

I given it a few goes over the years too, and I think I read the first two (or skimmed through them, more likely). I remember that Daenerys made a strong impression on me.
