I know I'm only going to see this way after the whole thing has screened (which, actually, has become my preferred viewing method)...but it's looking quite good. Better than I thought it would (even with HBO being involved).

Actually I saw the author speak a couple of times at Worldcon recently, which was also pretty cool.

GRRM strikes me as a bit full of himself, but I like how involved and supportive he's been with the show.
