Allow me to go on the record as saying I found Ghajini so much more emotionally eviscerating than Memento in all its mindfuckery. Actually, come to think of it, most of the Indians I know who've seen both agree ... *nods*

Well, if you pick up an original DVD, you'll get perfect subtitles. If you pick up one of the pirated ones, you're running a slight risk ... but the thing with that if the movie's about a year old, you have a better chance of better subtitles. Really old films I wouldn't trust to even have subtitles.
But look, seriously, Diana, if you've never seen a Bollywood film or only watched a few and didn't like them, none of the ones in that article are a good place to begin. I adore Ghajini --- and it has an absolutely marvellous soundtrack by Rahman --- but that's only after seeing nigh on a hundred Bollywood films. A very specific language of film, you know?
If you want recs, by all means, I'm happy to supply names or even lend the movies to you. :p
