Alexander Skarsgård was excellent in Generation Kill! I don't recall having seen him in True Blood yet though . . .

So far, in reading the fanboy boards, I've seen: Sean Bean, David Wenham and Karl Urban (I assume it's the LotR influence), Gerard Butler (300), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (with Paul Bettany for Loki, which I actually think would be pretty fun), wrestlers (some guys called Kevin Nash? Triple H?), Kevin McKidd (who was the previously attached director's choice), and Alexander.
