That would really suck.

I want the movie to be about D'Anna and Leoben, who were both in the fleet when it escaped at Caprica. But what are the chances of that happening?

Now that HP has been moved to next year, City of Ember is one of the few movies I'm looking forward to this fall.

That was such a cool book. I can't wait to see how it looks on screen.

I watched her in two pre-Atonement films recently, I Could Never Be Your Woman and Death Defying Acts, and she really is a marvel.

I definitely recommend the book.

THE LUCKY ONES looks so damn good. Rachel is really coming back and hitting hard. I have yet to see Married Life but it seems good. Then she has this small dark comedy (Oscar buzz I'm SURE), The State Of Play, a big thriller/adaptation and then returning to what made her big a romantic drama, The Time Traveller's Wife. I AM ESTATIC that my girl is back.

Wow. When you put them all like that, she certainly has been busy. It's great to see her again after that quiet spell.

I LOVE the original State of Play, the UK miniseries with John Simm, so I'm keen to see what Hollywood makes of it.

There is the imdb. Since you know the characters you can tell me if she stepped into the shoes of a character too big..but before Russel Crowe, it was Brad Pitt.

Yeah, I've been tracking the film since it was in the rumour stages. I much prefer Pitt for the role though, he's a better replacement for John Simm than Crowe, and my guess is that the dynamic between the two leads (Simm and David Morrissey in the original, Crowe and Affleck in the movie) will be altered significantly as a result.

McAdam's role as a senior reporter was originally played by the fabulous Kelly MacDonald, and she had a nice, professional rapport/competition with Simm/Crowe's character. But seeing as the screenplay seems to have got rid of James McAvoy's character (Dan) altogether, my guess is that Dan and Della have probably been merged into one character.
