I actually remember reading a couple of articles back then when that story about Archer-Daniels Midland broke. Not sure if that is a good thing. ;)
I think I always wondered if it will have serious consequences for the company. But it didn't. By now I know that anti-trust things usually get settled by paying a fine and a few heads roll but the stock price is rarely impacted for a longer period of time.

But back to the movie; Soderbergh, Damon and a story that interests me, either in serious or comedic form, sounds good to me.

"Dark comedy thriller" has an odd ring to it, though, don't you think? More like something the Coens might make.

Personally, I hope it's more a Thank You For Smoking kind of movie...

Yes, it certainly sounds a bit strange. The first thing that came to mind naturally was "The Insider", but that movie doesn't have a lot of humour.
Article says "planning to have them play their roles seriously and have a humorous tone emerge naturally" so I'd expect it to be a bit more serious than "Thank you for Smoking" but I guess we'll just have to wait for now. But I'm open to anything from Soderbergh+Damon. :)

Thank you! :)
