I actually remember reading a couple of articles back then when that story about Archer-Daniels Midland broke. Not sure if that is a good thing. ;) I think I always wondered if it will have serious consequences for the company. But it didn't. By now I know that anti-trust things usually get settled by paying a fine and a few heads roll but the stock price is rarely impacted for a longer period of time.
But back to the movie; Soderbergh, Damon and a story that interests me, either in serious or comedic form, sounds good to me.
Yes, it certainly sounds a bit strange. The first thing that came to mind naturally was "The Insider", but that movie doesn't have a lot of humour. Article says "planning to have them play their roles seriously and have a humorous tone emerge naturally" so I'd expect it to be a bit more serious than "Thank you for Smoking" but I guess we'll just have to wait for now. But I'm open to anything from Soderbergh+Damon. :)
