I watched him recently in this bizarre swashbuckley miniseries about Christopher Columbus, and it was so hilarious! (And OMG tights!)

I found myself watching the vid so intensely, listening to every honey-dipped word coming out of Paul's Gabriel's mouth.
He made some excellent points and is obviously passionate and intelligent in his approach to playing this character.
Bravo Mr. Byrne!

Also...I was totally blown away by Blair Underwood's performance this week!
He took Alex's arrogant, prickly demeanor, and plunged him into that scene of vulnerability that was just amazing to watch!!

My God I'm loving this show!
And I'd have to agree about Gabriel's hands...they are so expressive and beautiful.
This week during Laura's session (which went almost exactly as Gina predicted it would b.t.w.) when she took his hand in hers...and his reaction to that, just floored me.
So totally sexual!

I think all the acting is amazing on this show - last week it was Josh Charles, the week before Sophie, this week Alex went to that place. It's just a stunning cast.

My Byrne love started with Gothic...which I originally watched for Julian Sands, and ended up falling for Gabe's twisted Byron.
Go figure.
