I like it in this written version better. It is probably my fault but in the movie the scene and the sudden change of pace that follows after your quote ends took me off guard. Also the events that follow seemed rushed to me, I wasn't fully able to adjust compared to the pacing before that. I have seen the movie only once at the theatre. I will try to better focus on the scene you quote when it will be shown later on TV.
