1. Nicholas had been assigned to other embassies before, of course, but never with an ambassador less concerned to know what exactly it was Nicholas did with his time. He noted this display of trust from Brydon in one of his reports to Six, drew several cautious conclusions from it, and privately made up his mind to be extra protective of Sir Mark.
2. Christopher loved the opera; Nicholas did not. The one and only time they had gone the same night, they were sitting separately, 15 metres between their respective boxes. During the interval, Nicholas approached him for the first time outside of the official arena. Neither of them stayed for the third act.
3. Nicholas' instincts agreed with Mark on this one: they could trust Special Agent Blake. Even so, he would never have imagined that three months later, they would be meeting up over morning tea (coffee for her) and eggs, because she was the only person in this town (this country) he could talk about things other than work with.
Oh, Simon. We totally need to team up for more Simon-fic, darling. Um, not that I've been utterly neglectful of fic in general lately, and particularly neglectful of our favorite chain-smoking magician and demon-chasing bookdealer, but...um. Yeah. *is ashamed*
Yes.. I still tingle when I think of your Simon/Bullock fic. Seriously.
Hmm. I shall have to mull some things over. Maybe something not-too-long, with work kicking my ass as of late. I miss lounging on LJ all the time. Sad, yeah? :/ My darlings...!
1. His parents too had died of a sickness like this: quick and merciless. And when Joan succumbed to the sweat, Thomas thought in sudden desperation that it could be all his fault.
2. He had known the orphanage, followed by years in the choir: Thomas was not unused to the attentions of older men.
3. In his latter years, he would not remember the names or faces of any of them. The only exception would be William Compton.

Yeah... That was the problem with the Simon/Seth fic. It was so long as planned out, I lost patience with it. *sigh*
I have finals in a month or so. So, maybe in my between semesters break, we'll work something out?
