can't believe it's happening at berkeley! T___T really interesting article though~ and about the white privilege article... it's actually kinda really pertinent for me i guess, living in japan? i feel like i've been more oppressive and constantly worrying/suspecting about what ppl think and how they treat me and others... not healthy haha

I know, it was kind of crazy :/ Crazy world that we live in though.

The White Privilege article is kind of an old classic, but it's really good and relevant. Assuming you have the ability to see that it can be applied to lots of different people in different situations, and the basic principles underlie a lot of different things.

I read that first article and pretty much my feelings are summed up by this guy's quote:

Although if educational value is really what they were going for, they could have found a much less threatening and offensive way to do it.
