Lovely! Especially liked the way it's as much about the boys growing up and coming into themselves - Virgil getting over his mom's death; Richie realizing both his sexuality and his own superpowers - as it is about them coming together. And for both of them, that growing up is a growing together, and that's just beautiful.

Also liked that Sharon knows. About the superhero gig and maybe the other thing, too...

Wow, you summarized my own story much more eloquently than I can. :) You got exactly what I wanted to convey: the boys growing up and together.

Ohhh, and a *very* delayed btw, but I *loved* your story, "Summertime." It was one of the first slashy Static Shock stories I read! Totally convinced me those two boys only deserve each other.

Oh, this was great. I liked seeing the progression of their relationship, moving in fits and starts, like we were peeking in on their lives at random points.

Yup, I was going for the "random snapshots of life" kind of story. Glad it worked. :)

And, *whoa*, you're really quite prolific over in the DC fandom, I remember reading a lot of your fics on FF.net and World of Makebelieve. Absolutely love your work, you just have a marvelous stylistic draw that sucks readers in and haunts their minds afterwards. And by they, I mostly mean me. :) Much <3.

What a nice surprise this was. As one of the above posters stated, you took something old and made it completely brand new. How refreshing. Makes me want to go draw some VR fanart.
