John and Martha are BFFs in my headcanon, it must be said- I so want to write more with them bitching entirely good-naturedly about the general business of living with a genius who has a tendency to act like a child. And yes, Mycroft would. I rather fancy he had his eye on the organisation beforehand, too...

Oh! Stories about people caught up in that year are always traumatising but often uplifting - this was one of the latter. I thought you managed Sherlock's genius skillz balanced against the Master very well, with both sides seeming appropriately written and you being fair to them.
