I am slightly disturbed, on re-watching the Lion King for the first time in ages, that I am finding myself quite in love with Scar. It's not so much the fact that he's evil- I mean, I fell head over heels for Light and he was a mass-murderer (crossovers, anyone? The parallels are numerous, come to think of it)-- (one sec)
OH NOES MUFASA ;__;

Well, that, to me, is the whole point of BNW -- jarring you out of your complacency by showing you how appealing an 'immoral' solution is. I love that book. 8D
Good luck with those evil deadlines!! :

It is- like most dystopias. Started reading The Death of Grass the other day, but decided to stop after Chapter One so that I could leave the kids still running through Welsh valleys rather than growing up and killing people. :s
And thankyou!

The Lion King was always very depressing to me, though.. :(
Good luck with the essays and whatnot.~ *hugs*

Oh but a Brave New World entices you to like the dark side because well that's where we would all be sometimes if we weren't given a jarring reminder of how evil it can be.
Scar's fantastic... you do know that the story's based upon Hamlet?!
You will be ready... on Friday, right or am I right? Good Luck!
Oh dear Lord, I have just recently been reintroduced to the Duck Tales much too catchy theme song and rid my head of its existence only to be reminded here. Thank you for that! You evil woman! XD

Mm, it does at that. Drags you scarily close, too- that's why I love Death Note so much, because I get where Light's coming from, and if a Notebook fell in front of me one day, I'd probably do something similar. Granted, I'd probably get caught sooner, but yeah...
It is? I mean, it makes sense now that you mention it, but I really had no idea. You learn something new every day, amirite?
You are right- and thankyou!
You are most welcome, m'dear. ;)
