I adored it. Twas a brilliant way to send DT off, methinks.

( Spoilers below! And do be warned, it does get a bit incoherent/repetitive/both after about halfway, if not before. )

:O i nearly cried.

Right before he regenerated when DT just kinda whimpered 'i don't wanna go' - it actually brought a tear to my eye.

I honestly don't know about the new guy though

I know! Seriously, I spent basically the entire thing after the scene with the radiation wondering why I wasn't crying, it was so freakin' sad. Such a good send-off though.

I didn't like the fact that the new guy was trying alot to be like DT's version of the doctor.

And yeah. The Obama thing seems to be "black and articulate and wears a suit": unpleasant.

A-and - I gave a scathing review to phoebonica when I watched this tonight, but I WILL GO BACK ON IT and say that the actual "knocks four times" moment got me completely. It came from nowhere. I couldn't believe it. D: Wiiiilf.

I can probably summarise my review as "I am *way* more sad for Wilf than I was for Ten. Also, what a waste of the time lords."

And the knocking, ikr? I very nearly cried when the Doctor said "I don't want to go" so plaintively at the end, but it was Wilf that got me. And the Doctor's rant after that was so real and so heartbreakingly honest I just... *wibble*

The Time Lords... meh. Maybe if some of them got out before the whole thing went to heck, then I'd like to see them back. Gallifrey, too, and the ethical mess that would (hopefully) follow. But it doesn't look like that's too likely to happen for a while yet, so I probably shouldn't get my hopes up.

John Simm almost made me cry laughing multiple times. X'D What. A PIMP.

eltea and I look at the Master as kind of a cross between Light and B, or a very Dark Knight Joker-esque figure. "Badass" is only the beginning.

I didn't think I'd fall in love with Eleven in thirty seconds, but I'm ready for him now. c:
