... wow, I am awed by how much extra-curricular stuff you do. I now feel like I was a terribly lazy sixth-former ;)

Believe me, I'm still trying to work out how I got here. Last I knew, there was only Sinfonia and Senior Choir...

Meh... you can only do so much, remember?

Pharaoh's father had wiped out the entire Jewish child population years before (hence the reason of Moses' epiphany) and wasn't against following in his Father's footsteps. Eye for an eye... or pre-emptive strike I do believe is the logic that follows any such action that was taken.

Uhm... I'd say the basics of your Christianity's still intact given that most "free-thinking" believers do not adhere to violence under any circumstances.

The movie has its good and its bad. Personally though, I remember not being overawed by it but my daughter young as she was at the time had a real affinity for it and it sparked some serious high-minded God thinking on her part.

@_@ How do you DO all that stuff?

I have a serious thing for smartly dressed people.
Death Note has converted me. Forever. XD'

I don't really have much authority to speak about Biblical matters, and it's been eons since I saw the film, but I do think it's pretty uncool that every single citizen of Egypt has to suffer just because their Pharaoh is a douchebag. idk. :|

...with difficulty. :S

Oh, same here. Hetalia, too- though I think that's got more to answer for with regards to a leather glove kink I seem to have developed since I started getting into the fandom. xD

That was my thoughts. The Old Testament God is a pretty harsh dude... idk.

The Prince of Egypt made me cry a few years back once I rewatched it. I cannot comprehend how anyone can justify the killing of children.

With the Pharaoh, it's a kind of Hitler thing (not that that's at all justifiable either)- he saw the Jewish kids as effectively subhuman. Killing them was not neccessarily a fun thing to do, but it had (in his eyes) to be done.

With God, though...
