Stop apologizing, Lupin, it's getting tiresome. You are responsible for no one but yourself. It is certainly not your responsibility to keep Black leashed and muzzled. We've managed to not mangle, maim or otherwise kill each other since he arrived here, I'm sure we can continue to do so without our hands being held.

Obviously, the modifications we made have failed. Unfortunately, this will be a case of trial and error, and we can only try once a month. I think it would be best if you took a goblet full of potion three days before the Full, and every day leading up to it. Without the aid of magical ingredients, the potency will not be as strong, but perhaps we can compensate with a higher dosage.

And I don't want him thinking I don't love him. If you tell him I'm his biological father.. isn't he going to wonder why I don't love him enough to keep him myself? I'm never really been around children, but I would worry he'd think that.
