Hey, nice!

I always found very compelling that image of the Gentleman reverently touching Stephen Black with his creepy cold white hands, too. I also found it very odd that the Gentleman would go to the trouble to enchant Stephen and Lady Pole and then just take them into his kingdom in order to make them dance with him. Forcing them into affairs, however, makes a little more sense to me. Also, sex is hotter than waltzing, usually.

...If Lascelles and Childermass were having that sort of affair with one another, it would (in my opinion) make the subtext of their hating one another much more fun. And picturesque.

Very good job, on both drabbles.
