You know come to think of it, this place's preoccupation with young people is a little strange.

It is a bit odd, isn't it? I suppose considering the nature of this world, the intelligence behind that choice is kind enough not to pull in people who are no longer strong enough in mind or body to cope with the change.

...You know that's also a good point. Everyone in here is really mentally strong in some way or another. Wouldn't you expect a least a few people to freak out in a place like this?

Perhaps the force deciding whom to bring here only chooses those who won't.

Though that level of understanding, of us, is somewhat frightening.

You know, depending on how long we think this process has been going on, they could know it through trial and error.

It's a bit frightening, though, thinking of this force as a sort of child, learning as it goes.

That and they implied that there's more people outside the barrier. And stuff like that. I mean it's possible say, Buffy was outside the barrier a hundred odd years ago and they got to know her then, she goes back, and then is taken from the same point in time now and that's the one who is here.

I suppose it's possible. Still, that line of speculation seems pointless. Obviously whomever might have been here before, previous versions of ourselves or no, we clearly didn't make enough of an impact to be noticed.
