Lily's on her way back from a trip to the library. She's calmed down considerably since her arrival, but she is still worried about whether she'll ever see Marshall again-- but anyway.
"The Estates," she says helpfully, a little surprised, too.
Harvey nods tiredly and carefully runs a hand through his hair. "Not Gotham," he says flatly. "What happened to Gotham?" To Rachel, is what he means, really, but he can only concentrate on one thing at the moment.
Bruce is standing not too far off, in the midst of rolling up his sleeves. He looks confused. A moment ago he had just arrived home after the incident with Commissioner Gordon and Harvey Dent, and where he is, it isn't his penthouse.
"What the --" But a familiar voice catches Bruce's attention, and when he turns around he blinks. "Harvey?"
"Bruce," he replies hoarsely, a little quietly. "She's dead, isn't she." He just needs to hear it confirmed. He's already certain, but he'd like a straight answer.
"Rachel and I --" He breaks off, then starts again, shakily. "The Joker took us. Tied me up in a warehouse, with oil cans, and there was an explosion. I don't know what happened to Rachel."

He feels his stomach knot up. She is dead. He knows it, but he can't let Harvey know that.
"What's going on? What happened?"
