so i went to the beach last weekend and took lots of pictures of myself (about 57 shots to be exact. why? i got bored. whatever!) anyway, one of the pics that turned up (parang bula, ano?) in my camera is this one:
Was this taken with a digital or a film camera? Either way, my 2 cents:
Photo is overexposed. In film camera terms, too much light flooded the film, so the negative darkened. In effect, when you make a print of the negative, the opposite happens so you don't get much picture but lots of white space. If you want to attempt redoing it, go for a wide aperture (if your camera has this feature) with slow shutter speed, on a bright day. Like...ON A BEACH! =)) If you can control ISO as well, go for high ISO para sensitive film, mas madaling masunog. :D
higher ISO figure (400 or so on point and shoots) - more sensitive film - best for low light / to capture motion (sports, etc) - CON: grainy pics
lower ISO figure (100 or so) - less sensitive - recommended for daylight. personally, pag still life, I just go for a tripod then go as low as ISO 50 - less grainy / crisper than high ISO - CON: if it's on auto, a digital cam will compensate with slower shutter speed so more chances to get blurry images
I know it sounds boring pero read your camera's manual. I had my ixus for 2 years but never read the manual, sayang marami s'yang kayang gawin. So, I read my new one's manual earlier, and ayun, he's wonderful! I was doing fun night pics sa skyway kanina, saya saya!
