You know, I always thought that the whole thing about Fox News being peopled by idiots and liars was sort of a joke, you know...a spin put on it by the more left to moderate media trying to show how they were just a really weird TV network. And to top it all off, they insult everyone in every armed service by implying that soldiers are "soft" for NEEDING to withdraw. Now, I've never been in any military, but I like to think that I understand a little bit what your bretheren (and sisteren) have gone through through the ages in wartime. These Fox assholes have NO. BLOODY. IDEA. AT. ALL. Nor do they want an idea if it's going to hurt their ratings.

Just posted this on my journal, went to the friends list, and your post was the first.

No we don't joke about Fox News being "Faux" News, nor that they are intensely ignorant and biased. While that's meant to be one of their more comedic segments it's not very far at all from their normal newscasts. Ameriwank and expressing bloodthirsty desire to invade other nations.

Fox is the cheerleader of war and destruction. They're the sensationlist yellow journalism of the late 19th and early 20th centuries given unto modern media format. So yeah, fuck them.

(Also, this probably decreases the common citizen of my nation in the eyes of the world, but I've heard tons of people gush about how Fox News is really "fair and balanced, way more unbiased than anyone else".)

They sue people who use the phrase "fair and balanced" because it's their trademark. And yes, supposedly they're very balanced and unbiased according to some I know who are somewhere to the Right of Attila the Hun.
