there is nothing more trying than a capable, physically fit young man who is feeling boxed in and pissed off at the world because of it

mmmm, i like that line. that'd describe an incapacitated eames really well.

I appreciate that. :D He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would just stare at a wall and mope, you know?

And, oddly, this is the part that really struck me: Cobb is forever undergoing paradigm shifts and changing into different people. Jarring doesn't even begin to cover it. I mean, the whole paragraph, but that was a little long to C&P. It's just so true. It's so Cobb. It explains him so well and I just... wow. I could wish for an entire fanfic just exploring the concept of Cobb switching gears, shifting paradigms, becoming new people.

AS FOR THE ARTHUR/EAMES PARTS, WHEE!!! There's such a quiet about how you go about their relationship. There's no declarations. There's nothing loud or aggressive. It's just there, and it grows, but only inch by inch. It's like... Eames would like to go faster, but he's aware that Arthur just doesn't move that quickly, and he's willing to go at Arthur's pace because it means so much to him.

KJBFWKJFNWSDFWSDF ANYWAYS. GREAT JOB YES. AND EAMES PLEASE DO NOT KILL YOURSELF TO STAY NEAR ARTHUR. ARTHUR WOULD NOT APPRECIATE THE GESTURE.

sakljdalk ♥♥♥ Oh my gosh, do not get me started on Cobb! I could ramble on all night. 99% of the things he does in the movie are fueled by grief and desperation, so canon really doesn't give us much of a base personality. We know that he loves his kids, he's super smart, and he's generally pretty honorable. Also we can assume that before Mal's death, he was a good guy, otherwise Arthur wouldn't have stayed loyal despite all his shenanigans. Apart from that, though, who was he? He could have been a complete 180 from this dude. There are so many possibilities there, you're right.

Yeah, I think I might have to do a part four now. You incepted me.

I DO NOT KNOW WHY THEY WERE GOING ON ABOUT HOW NEAR-IMPOSSIBLE INCEPTION IS. It seems fairly easy to me. XD
