Drawing and Maggie Stievfater
I had the opportunity to meet Maggie Stiefvater tonight! It was very exciting, but I'm going to blog about that tomorrow.
I drew a picture for Maggie, it was one of those spur of the moment things,really, and I drew a few ideas before settling onto this one. And I think I really like it :)

Quiver
Digging the schrapnel from my palms. Blood oozes. Fingers quiver.
I hear it, the blood rushing, like waves against a mighty wall. Crashing. I look around. I hear nothing else.

My last year of school.

Oh, look!
It's 2011. Wierd.
I hope everyone had a fun New Years Eve, although I'm guessing there'll be a lot of hangovers today ;)
First think I did for 2011 was watch Stargate: Universe. And then I got up to 60,000 words for Obsidian Ink. I am very happy with that, and I can't wait to start editing, I have pages upon pages of notes in my notebook ( Read more... ) -

So, just because I havent posted for a lo-ong time, I thought I might say whats been going on :)
I had my first three days of work! Pretty awesome, Stuck On You is an awesome company and I got to work in the factory part, printing labels and packaging stuff. Pretty cool and much better than working with customers. Especially when I find a friend who ( Read more... ) -

So, lately I've been on a roll, both with Fanfic and my own novel.
For me, 10,000 is a big deal. it makes me happy, more than happy, excited!
I can actually see myself acheiving my goal now!
And in Fanfic news, I have decided to write a kidfic, in which McKay gets reverted to a five year old. Whump and angst ensues and oh, don't we love it :)
