I've been up for more or less the last twenty hours (hooray for car alarms at 3:42 am!), and I should have gone to sleep at least a half an hour ago, but someone linked me to Fugitivus (FYI, contains material related to sexual assault) and I've been working my way through the posts there. This is something that really resonates, something that I've been trying to do but hadn't framed so explicitly to myself. Thanks for the post.

I've been thinking about this post since I've read it a week or two ago, partly because it really resonates, and partly because the trickiest situations in that regard, for me, come from three sources, all of which cropped up somewhat recently:

1. Robert.

2. People at work.

3. Robert's parents.

I also have a knack for coming off as confrontational, as opposed to bringing attention to something worth thinking about, or musing on alternatives, which has the potential to make things even more uncomfortable. Sigh.
