Javier and Lanie belong together; in fact, they’d be a perfect match. However, Javier Esposito has five mental blocks that keep them from being a couple. The first is the one most men and some women suffer from. . . the fear of commitment. Second is his fear of the fact works so closely to him physically and with his team on homicides. Third is their conflict in hours for many times he is on days when she is working nights, though he should be able to work around it if he truly wasn’t afraid of number one. Fourth is he is Catholic, and she is Protestant, so they could have a religious clash if they should marry and have children. Lastly, Javier just isn’t ready to settle down with one woman. He enjoys being single too much even though he has lost his wingman, Ken.
