Watched Torchwood: Miracle Day.  Actually, I finished watching it last night but I thought I'd let my thoughts percolate for a bit.  Bad idea, because the more I think about it, the less it makes any damn sense at all.

I haven't watched Miracle Day because IANTOOOOOOO, but that's not to say I never will. I do love Jack, I just... *sniff*...I'm not ready ;____;

And I never understood where that womanising rogue depiction of Kirk came from... I swear Trek fans were watching a different show to the rest of the world. I mean, 80% of the seducing he did was just a way to get back to (Spock) (Bones) the ship, right? What I really want is a prequel so we can finally see the shy, school-focused Kirk Gary Marshall was talking about. It could happen! The world always needs more Trek.

And also Ianto.

It's okay if you're never ready. You aren't missing a lot. There are a few mentions of Ianto, but... it's just not the same.

And I guess these things kind of snowball. It starts out as a slight exaggeration and forty years later, BOOM, manwhore. Most people who joke about it haven't actually seen TOS.
