Our tale of woe begins in mid-October, when Amazon e-mailed me one of those local deals for a yoga studio near my house.  Now, I really like the studio I've been going to, but this promised five regular yoga lessons plus one of aerial yoga for the low, low price of $30!  How do I turn down aerial yoga and not just because it might be research for a ( Read more... )

Oh man, I am so jelly. A power yoga class at a pole dancing studio sounds amazing. Pole dancing is brutal; one of my friends has been taking an advanced class and she comes home covered in bruises every time. It keeps you in great shape, though.

Ha ha, maybe if the studio were run a little better (the place was a loud, sweaty zoo last night) I would be more impressed. But, yeah, pole dancing would beat the shit out of me. And in those shoes? D:

Actually the shoes aren't so bad, since you do so much pulling yourself up and down the pole and using the tips of your toes. But they don't make you wear stripper shoes in class.

Oh man I miss pole-dancing! The closest studio to me that offers is in Norfolk and relatively close but their prices are outrageous. Aerial yoga sounds like a lot of fun although, knowing me, I would fall right out of the hammock. Hope your next class goes better.

I am pretty sure the hammocks are close to the ground and you've got a mat underneath. Pretty sure. ::gulp::
