ALL THESE FEELINGS. I read this last night, but had to take some time to process otherwise you would've gotten a comment that was all gibberish.
I was really terrified that Chris was going to punch that pap!
I opened the stall door, and I just… couldn’t go in. I stood there, Zach. I just stood in front of the goddamn bathroom door until some asshole shoved around me and went in.
Oh Chris. This just broke my heart.
“And your punishment shall be… doing the Sylar finger for anyone that asks,” Chris said mischievously.
“Aw, c’mon.”
“Hey, it could be worse. I could make you do the Spock hand thingy.”
LOL! I love how you've peppered in light moments like this throughout the angst. It feels so real and tangible.
Ha ha, no worries. It took me, like, YEARS to process this as a writer, so I can't fault my readers. It feels a little weird to say "I'm glad it feels real," considering, but yeah. Thanks.
I cried during the conversation with the Pines. Like, bawled. That's what's supposed to happen, huh? Interesting.
This whole fic... my god, it's so moving and real and raw. If I could, I'd hope no one ever had to deal with this kind of thing ever again, but yeah, unrealistic much? So instead, I'll hope that whoever else this happens to, they have that kind of family. And a Zach by their side.
Yeah, even when I was beefing up the conflict, I had to have Chris' family be supportive of him. I wish everyone could have that, not just people going through trauma. And, of course, a Zach.

Zach thought he’d read somewhere that no object in the night sky was more often mistaken for a UFO than the planet Venus.
I believe he heard that from Jesse Ventura. :P
I love cross-geekdom references! :P
