Well, would you look at that

I haven't posted in a long time so I thought I'd update. Let everybody know that I'm still not dead.

LJ's added a few more features today. They've added some more themes, one of which I'm trying out at the moment. I'm not sure I'm going to stay with it. The dark background might get hard to read and the slow roll-overs are a little annoying ( Read more... )

Peter, Mohinder and Hiro are amazing. Hiro is such a little fanboy. *grins*

Matthew Perry is adorable in Studio 60, I just want to huggle his character.

I've got to agree about Brothers & Sisters, I missed this week's episode but from the first two shows I wasn't incredibly impressed. I'd have to say my favorite part was the gay guy demanding the one brother admit he was gay, but that's because it was just so random. And crazy people are love ( ... )

I may be dating myself but I think Sports Night was before my time. I've heard of it but never seen it. Though who knows I was pretty oblivious to Friends for a while as well so I just might have missed it. *laughs*

Yeah, I'm watching Brothers & Sisters pretty much solely for the gay brother. And the gay witness was fun.

Oh my god so am I! *chuckles*

As for Wentworth Miller, I don't remember him from Popular but I do recall him from 'Go Fish' in Buffy. He plays a so snooty popular guy who is so full of himself I can’t help but break into giggles, who is on the swim team; and he's wearing super tight jeans and talks like no normal teenager ever would so really taking his character serious isn’t about to happen. But it's beyond cute. And there is Xander in a speedo, hee.

It doesn't hurt that the boss is nice-looking and not a total asshat. So true. He is very pretty to look at, and him not being an asshat is a major plus. I missed the pilot but when they keep describing him as a playboy I’m like ‘wha?’ Cos he’s not a buttmonkey, and ( ... )

Sports Night ran in 1998-2000. Not that long ago, really. They probably got lost in the sea of new sitcoms that got introduced around that time. They were TV Guide's "Best Show You're Not Watching" their first (and maybe second) year, I believe. If you like Studio 60, you'd probably like it. Plus, it produced tons of wonderfully written slash. People are still writing some today, 6 years after the show was canceled! *g* If you have a chance, I'd say try to rent the first DVD. (Ignore the laugh track, it's just ABC trying to shoehorn the show into the sitcom format. They did away with it in the second season.) That'll let you know what the show is like. And at 22 minutes per episode, it goes very quickly. Plus, Josh Charles (Dead Poets Society, Threesome) and Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) make a cute couple. *g* I love the show's tagline from IMDB: "It's about sports. The same way Charlie's Angels was about law enforcement ( ... )
