So, the heat and time-delay con crud knocked me out this afternoon and I ended up taking a nap rather than updating. I am sucking so badly at this. Plus, I know I have to run a bunch of errands tomorrow so I probably won't get to post much until late then either.

where does he appear to be a douche? he's the people's nerd, to be sure, but he's a nice guy in every instance where i've been fortunate to talk to the guy.

The douchebaggery comes from his well earned reputation of booking appearances and then totally not showing with no notice or apology. It's legendary and I honestly was surprised that he showed up at the convention at all.

every time (that i know of) that he's missed a convention, it's due to either being told not to show up by the people who run the con, or money issues on his end. i don't think he intends to be a dick to people.
