But if he dies a virgin, won't he be given to some Muslim suicide bomber?

Bwahhahahaa! These are hysterical! My fav is either

31. I do not have a Dalek Patronus.

or

47. I will not ask Dumbledore to show me the pointy hat trick.

Vastly amusing *bg* Do you mind if I friend you? You seem like lots of fun ^_^

Who thinks Harry's going to die in the end and who thinks he's going to live?

I know everyone is convinced that Harry is going to cark it, but I don't think so. I mean, what kind of message would that send people? Life sucks, all parents/authority figures are going to die to protect you, but it doesnt matter cos you get killed anyway? Nah. Also Rowling made Dumbledore spend a bit of time trying to define the actual meaning of the prophecy in HBP, and she never does that without a reason. I think Harry's gonna make it through, but I'm more than a little worried about other characters that follow him....

Does anyone else think Neville is going to save the day?Hee! I have no doubt that Neville is going to play a significant part in the last book, but I don't think he's going to necessarily save the day ( ... )

I would love for you to be my friend. Please come aboard.

As for the questions, I can see Harry giving up his life to save everyone else. I can also see Neville doing the same thing. I also wouldn't be surprised if she brings back Dumbledore or Sirius or both (she's got outs on both of them so she can bring them back). I don't think she's quite creative enough for the Luna/twins pairing (besides that borders on incest - not good for the kiddies this book is supposedly aimed at). I woudln't be surprised if Luna ended up with Neville. That seems to be the way she's guiding it.

I had a casting discussion previously. Would you care to throw in some comments as to how you would cast the new characters from book 6?

Hmmm. You know, I think about it, but I can't really see Harry giving up his life to save everyone. I don't doubt for a second that he has that kind of nobility, but I also see his as much more determined, and I think he would never accept his life - or anyone's really - as the price for salvation. I think he would continue to struggle to find another solution. That's just imho, though ^_ ( ... )

Most of your suggestions, while good won't work because the studio is contractually obligated to use british actors only (except for the foreign students introduced in book 5). I'm just hoping that Eddie Izzard and (especially) Billy Connoly get cast at some point. Connoly would be great for Scrimegower (I personally think he would have been better for Lupin, though).

As for Sirius, he is SO my favorite character (and coincidentally, Gary Oldman is my favorite actor) but I would like to remind you that he is not actually dead. He was quite alive when he fell beyond the veil and there is nothing in cannon saying that someone cannot come back from beyond the veil. I really feel he's going to be back in the next book. I expect him to take up a position at Hogwarts in the end if he does. I can understand the whole crying over a character thing, though. I've done it twice.
