Lay low for awhile, then go back...they'll forget. DO NOT give this up. In fact, I'd consider a law suit.

I can't go back if they don't give us passes and they refuse to allow me admittance so I'm out for good.

Another idea...go public with this. Embarrass the hell out of them and the she-thing that complained. The last thing ANY theater company needs in this economy is bad press.

You can't let the ass hats let you down. The woman who yelled at you was in the wrong, if I had been there I would have told her so. It's not like you laughed during a super sad show. It's Chicago, a comedy musical.
For you to be permanently banned management will have to put it in writing, the GENERAL MANAGER of the theater has to sign off on it. Unless you have it in writing, one person going off on you during a performance does not a banning make.

As I said, I too am media, I'm a paying customer once or twice a year (actually more than that if you count the people I bring in from out of state when I do go), and I'll be glad to say something on her behalf about what happened from my POV. It's obviously biased, I'm sure, but at least it's another voice saying "we didn't start anything."

I just wanted to say WOW, as in WHAT THE HELL WOW. I don't see how that's even allowed. There must be a way to talk to them. Do they take emails seriously? If you have enough people willing to email in a complaint about this it's gotta do something. I can't believe how ridiculous this is. You laughed, boohoo. What a nasty person to get you in trouble over this.
