Haven't updated in a whole due to life screwing me over. Mainly, because the lack of a second car has left me stranded without internet for a couple of days

it's a disgrace the fact that you're having so much trouble getting medical attention. If you're paying for insurance, the company better damn well provide you with a provider that can help and will work with the insurance company.

I hope things get better with both the medical (if you need someone to do some calling and screaming, just let me know) and with the car. I guess because interest rates are higher on used cars than new cars, the payment could wind up be more for a used one

I think it's BS that the Insurance company of the person that hit you isn't paying up. but your insurance should definitely cover it until theirs does.
