OK, On the way to work today I noticed gas prices rose again. I saw that one of the stations right by the office still had gas at $2.73 so I thought I'd top off at that price. I stopped and got ready to pump but couldn't because my gas door wouldn't open. I tried repeatedly to pull the lever to get it open and it never did (however, at one point

The button that opens my gas door has been broken for a while. I have to use a pocket knife or a key to break the magnetic seal (or whatever it is) to trigger the door to open. That might work for you but I'm not sure what kind of mechanism you have on yours.
