Well, it's boob-smashing day. In honor of it, I am wearing this shirt. Whee! Smashed boobs. What could make a Friday more appealing

Smashed boobies! Been there, done that, not too bad actually. Well, I can think of more pleasant ways of having my boobies squeezed and squished ::makes gropey hand gestures::, but no big whoop. ;)

I'm 37, but breast cancer runs in my family, so my doctor recommended I have a baseline screening done this year. All looks good so far, so yay!

I thought you were in your early twenties at best.

I had my baseline last year but there were some spots that they were going to biopsy but then dissappeared when they went to do it. Then I had another at the 6 month mark and everything was OK.

Hopefully, things will still be good.

As for the boobies smashing, it's time for my annual mammogram. Yea for being over 40.

It's not too bad if you get the right technician. It also helps to have soft, fatty boobs. They hurt less than firmer ones.

My mom is a breast cancer survivor. She had to mastectomies 25 years apart to the day.

But she's here.

For that reason, I'm all for the smashing.
