Wow! today has been wierd. I have felt groggy all day. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm off my meds. The doctor gave me a 4 week's sample dose to try out and they ran out on Sunday. However, I have a doctor's appt scheduled for Friday and I plan to get him to write me a permanent prescription for them. I know I've talked about how much I don't like ( Read more... )

Hey, question for you...you were a temp once, right? Who did you temp for? I'm thinking I might try for that again since I've got nothing on the horizon atm.

I worked for Robert Half (OfficeTeam & Accountemps) and Kelly Services.

Robert Half was good at first but then all of the decent people that worked there left and they wouldn't send me out on any assignments.

Kelly was terrific. They really kept me working and I ended up with fantastic experience and my current job from them. The office in College Park was the one that found me the most work.

Either way, mention me if you go to them. Especially Kelly, it might help.

Thanks! I actually had an interview at Ailjon (sp?) which used to be Milenium Staffing. Apparently I was registered with them way back in 2000 after I got out of school. They might have something for me by the beginning of Sept. for 3 months. Bad side is that I will have to cancel my San Fran trip until maybe early spring. But right now, the way things are going, I'll have to anyways.

Thanks so much. If I don't hear anything, I'll try the others. I want to say I worked for Kelly before.

OMG That is so horrible! You'd think that after that kind of stuff happens to animals they relocate in other parts of the world, they'd get a damn clue and realize that 18-wheeling Mack trucks just suck a ton of ass when you want the "cargo" to be safe!

Good to here the meds are helping. I understand not wanting to commit a lifetime to a drug, but if the positive outweights the negative... it is work checking out.

Nice to here you've got a place lined up! Housewarming parties are fun to have, especially around the Holidays! More festive that way!

I agree that it is sad about the Zoo's accident. Animals are so innocent!
