Facebook is pissing me off. People are STILL inviting me to add their stupid applications and it sucks visiting people's pages BECAUSE they have so many applications. And when people invite you to join this-and-that group or this-and-that good cause you feel horrible rejecting them because it does terrible things to your karma or whatever.

Yeah, I am not entirely sure. I still get confused about the trans thing. I just do the whole "they-like-whoever-they-like" thing to simplify. :3

I'd guess that the reason it's so offensive is the issue of choice - you've got the conservative Christians who say being gay is a choice, and you can choose to become straight again. And so this is offensive for the same reason, straight people not being able to choose to be gay any more than gay people can choose to be straight.

I've got more complicated views on choice and sexuality, too, but that's a big huge tangent dealing with nature and nurture and whatnot.

Yeah, I used to get a bit irritated at South because some of them had the "and you're even COOLER because you're gay!" attitude.

If gay were the way, the human race would be screwed. Or rather, they wouldn't, and that would be the problem.

don't let yourself think you're less interesting or inferior or something because you're straight :)

I have to admit, I get excited when I learn people are or might be gay. :D I have no idea why. But like one time, my professor said "my partner" and I was all "c:" because EVERYONE KNOWS that's code for "gay"

IDK though when it all comes down to it I don't really care. I think . . . most of my closest friends are straight, if I'm remembering them all. So it takes more than ~*~GAY~*~ to prove yourself to me >:[
