Is anyone else upset about the lack of space on the counters at the registers? We just had to put out these ridiculous little candles that no one is going to buy and that just take up space. There was already too little space with the People magazines, candy, and giftcards, we didn't need anything new added!

It's fun watching customers knock them over when they try to sign credit card slips. Bonus points for having the oldass scanners and not the new pretty ones. Also when they break the FES register scanner and now we have to use the slow registers.

We had a visit from corporate today and almost every customer had too much stuff to fit on the counter so I had to take time away from scanning to bag stuff which made me look like I work really slowly.

You forgot to add the customers kid and purse to the list of stuff taking up space on the counter.

Soooo~....I finally knocked off one of those candy/giftcard stands off Customer Service. There was stuff everywhere! Ugh...I have NO idea why they thought that was a good spot to place it when multiple people are squeezing in and out of that booth!
