Ha! Me neither, until not very long ago. I was afraid it was something more like 'Little Rascals' or so. Instead it's one of the best movies he ever did. \c/

Had the movie stored away some place, only ever watched Callum's scenes and never thought it would be such a good movie. So now, I have to watch it pronto 1/ to watch it 2/ to take the poll! Well done!

Going through the IMDB boards, I found out that the movie was never released on VHS or DVD due to soundtrack copyright issue. That's what you get when having too good a soundtrack! And 2 years ago, a guy working with the director was sending a free demo DVD on request.

Made me wonder if adding if the movie is commercially available or not would be useful. Or is IMDB info on this reliable (DVD ref or not)?

Back! I've 1/watched 2/taken the poll, which was definitely the most fun part!

You're right, the movie's really good, but also scary, like in real-life scary, for me because of kids + violence: violence to others, violence to self - that's why I ticked 'lots of violence' in the poll.

Re: the poll, about the "good guy" thing, do you mean as opposed to "bad guy" or like a nice kind of guy? Difficult to say here anyway, he's not acting particularly nice, but it may very well be an act to impress the kids, don't know.

About the poll... I guess I mean both? Not a bad guy and nice? It's surprisingly hard to come up with clear poll options.

I think everything he does while he's with the kids is to scare them. Or, okay, at least with Cory. Not so much with Des probably.
