Hee! Great banner! And thanks for posting the article; I hadn't read that one, and it's fascinating! Verrrry interesting to a Ray Kowalski fan, too. :)

Can any Canadians here please translate the adjective "chippie" and the "beer and a milkshake chaser" comment?

i believe the beer and milkshake thing was referred to at the beginning of the article... the sort of boy-in-mans-body thing. :)

and the chippie thing... i believe it refers to a sort of naive arrogance, being flippant and immature. as far as i know its not a Canadian word....

Huh. I didn't even notice, but you are right, it's quite Ray Kowalski. Hm.

And the "beer and milkshake chaser" comment is about something in the first part of the interview. No idea about 'chippie'. Not that I am Canadian.

Thank you! I hadn't seen this interview before, and it's wonderful.

That's why I'm doing this for a living, so I can be other people that I might get along with.

How interesting that so many fanfics portray Ray Kowalski as doing exactly this with his undercover work.
