I had to wait in Standing Stone for a few hours before going home because the dorms kicked everyone out at 9:30 this morning.  I was okay with waiting at Standing Stone; they have excellent food at fairly reasonable prices, they're local, and I like what they stand for.  They also offer free WiFi, and I had research to get done and a working

It's so interesting that the computer would kill itself and then decide to fix itself after 4.5 parts of computer fail. But I hate it when that happens to me. Computer cancer is impossible to fix, but luckily for me I so happen to be surrounded by people who can cure it :)

Yeah, that was what surprised me, too! I mean, it's not inconceivable, but in my experience computers don't just fix themselves. But I guess mine did, this time, which is good because I would have had no idea what to do. You're lucky you have people who know computers! I have a couple of friends who Know What They're Doing, which is nice.
